Approx 160 soldiers were executed at Tol Plantation, detailed accounts were in Australian newspapers by early
April 1942. All four soldiers from the Newcastle area were executed, their families were not officially
informed by AMF until 15/10/1945.  Copies of letters to Mrs Bridget Webb attached.
